Colorist Nolan Woodward takes the homage a step further by limiting himself to only colors that were available in 1983. The third book in the Infernal Devices series is titled Clockwork Princess and was released on March 19, 2013. It makes sense that Marvel would turn to Ordway to handle these covers, as Ordway famously adapted 1989's Batman in photorealistic detail in Batman: The Official Movie Adaptation. Dubbed "Classic Trade Dress Variant Covers," these images are meant to evoke both the composition and trade dress of the original Return of the Jedi comics from 1983.
